I made these 4 squares after being inspired by something on a quilt show. Then I played around with the different looks you could get by turning them in different directions. I enjoyed playing with them so much that they are still not sewn together. I couldn't decide which way I liked them and since there are only 4 they are not big enough to be a throw or anything. I was thinking that they could be the center of a throw and I could do something around them...more thinking to be done with this, but I have had a lot of fun with it so far.
I have a few BOM that I am working on too. I am doing Bunny Hill's basket blocks with lots of applique. I am not really good at the applique, but getting better with each new block. I am also doing Willowberry's Verandah Views in embroidery. I just printed out the March block and it is really sweet. I love having all the different types of projects because I can never stay focused on one thing for too long or I get bored. I have been working on The Quilt Shows BOM also, but it is getting really difficult and I keep getting stuck on colors to use in it so it is not moving very fast.
The other day I transplanted some of my tomato plants that I am growing in the apartment. They are looking so nice and healthy. I can't wait to be able to get out and garden again! We just realized that Daylight Savings time starts on Sunday again so I guess that means that Spring is just around the corner. Yea!!!
I'll be back when I have more bits and pieces put together~

Found you through my friend, Moda Home Mom. Isn't quilting just like a puzzle? Love it.
Hi Ferne,
Love your blocks and the fabric. I do the same thing, I make some blocks then what do you do with them? You could always make a small wall hanging. Good luck with the applique, I've never tried it but it's so beautiful.

Oh Ferne,
Those are such fun blocks. I am having fun reading about your projects. Can't wait to see more pictures.
Thanks for visiting me and leaving the kind comment on the baby tablescape. It's always lovely to hear from you.
I will catch up with you later. Meanwhile, happy sewing!
